Kayla Nicole Stripling, 28, of Newnan died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Born in Newnan, October 4, 1989, she was a daughter of Robert Edmund Stripling and Libby Leigh Griffin Applegate. She was a graduate of Northgate High School and was formerly employed with Humbug Pest Control.
Surviving in addition to her father and mother and step-father, George Applegate, are a brother, Drew Stripling and wife Crystal; maternal grandmother, Sonja Griffin; and a niece, Ansley Stripling; all of Newnan; step-brother, George Applegate of White Fish, Mont.; uncles, Blake Griffin and wife Stacie, Frank Stripling and wife Tisa, Steve Stripling and wife Paige, Jim Stripling and wife Debbie; aunts, Beth Noles and husband Mike and Nancy Mann; cousins, Courtney and Cody Griffin and Justin and Joshua Newman; and a long list of surviving family that will dearly miss her.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. from the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel, 38 Jackson Street, with Reverend Jeff Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Terry Harris, Kyle Harris, Kory Harris, Kane Harris, Blake Griffin and Justin Newman.
