Jerry "Gordan" Clark, 82, passed away peacefully Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home in Moreland surrounded by family.
He was born February 25, 1935 in Knoxville, Tenn. to the late Conard Allen Clark and Shirley Cowden Clark. Along with his parents, Gordan is preceded in death by his sister, Ann, and her husband, Ted Reagan.
Gordan is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Virginia "Jinny" Martin Clark; brother James "Jim" Clark; daughters, Nancy and her husband Jeff Flinn, Alice Grooms, Sally and her husband Mark Thompson, Shirley and her wife Carol DiDomizio, Teresa and her husband Doug Clark; grandchildren, Sandra and her husband Paul Hartman, Elizabeth and her husband Shane Warren, Mary and her husband Jeremy Gillings, Jeffery and his wife Kristen Flinn, Michelle Flinn, James Wright, Nina and her husband Jesse Combs, Savannah Grooms; great-grandchildren, Daniel Hartman, Jonathon Hartman, Kylie Warren, John David Gillings and Layla Wright. Gordan is also survived by a long list of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will dearly miss him.
The memorial mass is Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 3 Village Road, Newnan with Father Terry Crone officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
