Mrs. Dorothy Helen Gardner Pullin, 96, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

She was born in Henry County to the late Ruby and Wilburn Gardner.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Peter Wilson Pullin, Jr.; and her brother, W.A. Gardner.

Best known to her friends as "Dot," she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She loved gardening, reading, trips to the beach, Braves baseball and cooking for her family.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Turner Fertilizer in McDonough.  She also worked as a parapro at McDonough Elementary School until age 75.  She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to laugh and was always kind to everyone she met.

Surviving are her children, Patti Durden, Pamela Pullin-Wills, Peter Wilson Pullin III (Toni), Peggy Nolan (Larry); siblings, Evelyn Norman, James A. Gardner (Sheila); grandchildren, Debbie Tipton (Chris), Ed Durden, Nathan Pullin (Mandy), Katie Tallent (Travis), Matthew Nolan (Kimberly), Kyle Nolan (Jenny), Wade Nolan (Cathie); great-grandchildren, Maggie, Tobin, Isabel, Brooks, Eli, Bo, Ansley, Ian.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at McDonough City Cemetery with Pastor Terry Calhoun officiating.
