Saturday’s 42-13 pounding of rival Valdosta State has moved the UWG Wolves up three spots in the weekly American Football Coaches Association Division II Top-25 Poll.

West Georgia is now ranked  22nd in this week’s rankings. UWG is now 5-1 on the season, and has won three straight since last month’s loss at Delta State.

UWG’s ranking was one spot ahead of this Saturday’s opponent, West Alabama.

The Tigers, also 5-1 for the season, placed 23rd following their 29-26 victory over 21st ranked Delta State.

West Georgia and West Alabama meet this Saturday in Livingston, Ala. Kickoff time is set for 5 p.m. (EDT) in Tiger Stadium on the UWA campus.
