Jorek graduates from the College of Disney Knowledge

Misty Jorek, who works for Magical Wishes Travel, recently graduated from the College of Disney Knowledge and joined a group of travel industry professionals who have attained a special knowledge of the Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disney Cruise Line® Adventures by Disney®, and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i.

“The College of Disney Knowledge was extremely beneficial to me,” said Jorek. “It was a fun and informative way to learn more about the Disney vacation portfolio. I also feel more confident about selling Disney destinations. The College of Disney Knowledge has taught me how to add more value to each Disney itinerary so that I can help make every client’s magical dreams come true,” said Jorek.

BB&T promotes Reynolds to market president

BB&T has promoted Garnet Reynolds to market president.

Reynolds is based at 295 Bullsboro Drive.

Reynolds brings more than 15 years of experience in the banking industry to his new role.

The Newnan native earned a bachelor’s of business administration from The University of Mississippi with a double major in banking and finance, and real estate.  Reynolds also completed a graduate degree of banking at Louisiana State University School of Banking.

A 1997 graduate from Newnan High School, Reynolds moved back to his hometown to start his career in the mortgage industry. After five years in the mortgage industry, Reynolds moved for an opportunity in the Business Banking and Commercial Lending division. Reynolds joined BB&T in March 2012, and was attracted to the bank due to the culture and the values the bank represented.

Reynolds gives the credit for his success to his wife, clients, mentors, and the associates he has had the opportunity to work with throughout his career.

"Any time a company empowers you to do the right thing for your client and your associates, the relationships you build will last forever," Reynolds said.

Reynolds is a current member of the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce, Newnan Rotary Club, First United Methodist Church, and a board member of Abby’s Angels Foundation.  He has previously served on the board of Communities In Schools, and he is a past graduate of Leadership Coweta.  Reynolds is married to his wife, Leigh, and they have two sons, David and Whit.
