Providence Baptist Church on Providence Church Road will have a Sunday of Missions this Sunday at the 8:30 and 10:50 a.m. services.

Speakers will talk about various church mission activities. A total of 16 speakers are scheduled to participate.

Westside Baptist Church, 762 Smokey Road, will celebrate homecoming on Sunday.

The service will start at 10:30 a.m. Trusting Grace from Alabama will be singing.

Revival will follow Monday-Tuesday at 7 p.m. Dr. Larry Brown, pastor of Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, S.C. will be preaching.

Rocky Mt. Bethel Baptist Church near Luthersville will celebrate Kenneth L. Curtis’ 18th anniversary as the church’s pastor on Sunday.

The service will start at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Emmitt L. Jimerson, pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church of Luthersville, will bring the message. Dinner will be served immediately after the service.

Opening ceremonies for the Girls Who Rule the World project was held recently at World Changers Church, 2500 Burdett Road, College Park.

The U.S. Army partnered with the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation for the project which included a camp at the Rock Ranch from July 26-30. Opening ceremonies at World Changers were held on July 26.

Captain Deshauna Barber, Miss USA 2016, spoke at the opening event.
