Ms. Beverly Butler Hutcheson of Fairburn, age 71, went to be with Jesus, Friday, September 1, 2017.  

At the age of 52 Beverly returned to college, earning an associate degree from Georgia Military College. She received a medal for graduating at the top of her class. She was retired from Fulton County Tax Assessor’s Office as a Deputy Clerk. 

Beverly also was a retiree of Fulton County Schools (Hapeville Elementary and Seaborn Lee Elementary) as a bookkeeper. Beverly was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Horace Butler Sr. and Frances Louise Coogler Butler; sister, Betty Sams and her husband, William W. (Billy); brother, Willie Horace (Butch) Butler Jr. 
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lauren Smith and her fiancé, James Robert Hughes Jr. of Palmetto; grandchildren, Robert Logan Smith, Hannah Faith Smith; nieces, Bambi Ann Sams, Beverly Dawn Snider, Bonnie L. Sams; nephew, William W. (Bill) Sams, II; several great nieces and nephews. 
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at
