The recent blood drive held at the Coweta County Justice Center is sponsored by the Victim Assistance Program at the Coweta County District Attorney’s Office. In honor of Victims’ Rights Week, the Coweta County District Attorney’s Office recently hosted their annual blood drive.

Sponsored by the Victim Assistance Program at the Coweta County District Attorney’s Office, several members of the community, law enforcement and public safety turned out to give blood on April 27.

This year, the blood drive was held inside the Coweta County Justice Center in Cranford Hall as The American Red Cross assisted with the collection.

To honor victims and increase awareness about victims’ rights, the victim assistance program has organized its Red Cross Blood Drive each year.

“Our blood drive was a great success, due to the wonderful citizens of Coweta County that always come out to donate,” Allison Boone said. “We certainly appreciate all those who volunteered.”
