Newnan High School announces scholarship winners

Callie Bass, daughter of Vince and Laura Bass, has received a Volleyball Athletic Scholarship from University of West Georgia in the amount of $3,000 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $12,000.

Joseph Bennett, son of Liberty New, has received a Merit-Based Scholarship in the amount of $2,500 per year renewable for four years, a Marching Band Scholarship in the amount of $6,500 per year renewable for four years, for the total amount of $36,000.

Ashley Bloodworth, daughter of Sandra Chambers, has received the Reade Scholarship from Valdosta State University in the amount of $4,000 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $16,000.

Honna-Lee Brock, daughter of Shasta Brock, has received the Merit Based Scholarship from Point University in the amount of $3,500 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $14,000.

Emily Campbell, daughter of Julie Campbell, has received the Millennium Scholarship from Troy University in the amount of $25,726 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $102,904.

Katelyn Cannon, daughter of Steve and Teresa Cannon, has received the Duke University Scholarship from Duke University in amount of $40,316 per year renewable for four years.

Matthew Crow, son of John and Katherine Crow, has received a Merit Scholarship and an Athletic Scholarship from Milligan College in the amount of $25,000 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $100,000.

Madison Davison, daughter of William and Kim Davison, has received the Point University Lacrosse Scholarship and the Point University Merit Scholarship from Point University in the amount of $10,500 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $42,000.

Kamron Dye, son of Sean and Windy Dye, has received the Institutional Scholarship from Morehouse College from in the amount of $15,000 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $60,000.

Mason Hamlin, son of Fred and Carol Hamlin, has received the Charter Scholarship from the University of Georgia in the amount of $1,500 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $6,000.

Emily Elise Hughes, daughter of Tony and Janet Hughes, has received the Tower Scholarship from LaGrange College in the amount of $12,500 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $50,000.

Konry Jackson, daughter of Mary C. Carter, has received the Dean “A” Scholarship from Miles College in the amount of $6,000 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $24,000.

Erin Lamb, daughter of Steve and Kim Lamb, has received the Dean’s Scholarship in the amount of $9,700 per year renewable for four years, the Leadership Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 per year renewable for four years, and the School of the Arts Scholarship in the amount of $3,300 per year renewable for four years for the total amount of $60,000 from Samford University.

Colin Lambert, son of Eric & Sherry Lambert, has received the Merit Scholarship in the amount of $8,300 per year renewable for four years and the Athletic Scholarship for Soccer in the amount of $5,000 per year renewable for four years for the total of $53,200 from Milligan College.

Emily Landrum, daughter of Daniel and Tina Landrum, has received the Jesse Mercer Scholarship from Mercer University in the amount of $24,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $96,000.

Courtney Lewis, daughter of Jason and Lynn Lewis, has received the Merit Scholarship in the amount of $5,500 per year renewable for four years and the Athletic Golf Scholarship in the amount of $12,000 per year renewable for four years for the total of $70,000 from Point University.

Katelynn Parnell, daughter of Jackson and Jennifer Parnell, has received the LaGrange College Learning Presidential Scholarship from LaGrange College in the amount of $29,450 per year renewable for four years for a total of $117,800.

Jessica Peace, daughter of Jeffrey and Lisa Peace, has received the Academic Excellence Scholarship from Mississippi State University in the amount of $6,500 per year renewable for four years for a total of $26,000.

Caleb Perry, son of Melvin and Yancena Perry, has received the Stanford Fund Scholarship from Stanford University in the amount of $58,684 per year renewable for four years for a total of $234,736.

Jacob William Quick, son of Scott and Beth Quick, has received the Charter Scholarship in the amount of $8,000 per year renewable for for years and the Legacy Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $36,000 from Auburn University.

Taurean Reeves, son of Rodriguez and Latanya Reeves, has received the Merit Scholarship from Young Harris College in the amount of $14,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $56,000.

Hannah Scarbrough, daughter of Todd and Joni Scarbrough, has received the Athletic Scholarship for Softball from Georgia Southern University in the amount of $11,710 per year renewable for four years for a total of $46,840.

Victoria Schlichting, daughter of Kurt Schlichting and Laura Fox, has received the Academic Excellence Scholarship from Mississippi State University in the amount of $6,500 per year renewable for four years for a total of $26,000.

Mackenzie Teal, daughter of John and Edie Teal, has received the Dean’s Scholarship in the amount of $14,000 per year renewable for four years and the Young Harris College Scholars Program Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $64,000 from Young Harris College.

Jack Vargas, son of Manuel and Lidiette Vargas, has received the Athletic Scholarship from Milligan College in the amount of $8,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $32,000.

Orion Watson, son of Patrick Watson and Linda Hardy, has received the Lamar Plunkett Merit Scholarship and the Partners Scholarship in the amount of $23,601 per year renewable for four years for a total of $94,404 from Mercer University.

Alexis Westrick, daughter of Todd and Linda Shock, has received the Vice Presidential Scholarship from LaGrange College in the amount of $20,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $80,000.

Rylan Williams, son of Jeff Williams and Shanna Williams, has received the Bonner Scholarship from Berry College in the amount of $50,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $200,000.

Caleb McPhee Winters, son of John and Corby Winters, has received the Lamar Plunkett Scholarship from Mercer University in the amount of $20,000 per year renewable for four years for a total of $80,000.
