The current political climate in our country is troublesome. The left is demonizing the right, and the right is demonizing the left. Demonizing someone with different opinions from yours does not allow for finding a common ground. Without a common ground it is impossible to exist together in harmony.
Bikers already think they own the road. Lots of times we can’t even pass because they take up the whole lane. They should be made to buy tags if they right in the road. Doesn’t that make sense?
In a recent "Sound Off" in the NTH, one writer referred to another by name as as a "Liberal Snowflake.” This paper should not allow name-calling and require that anyone who refers to another by name have his own name published. It is cowardice for someone to do otherwise. "Sound Offs" and "Letters" should be factual, civil, and courteous. We can disagree and do all three. --Dennis Thompson
