Leadership to be discussed during networking group meeting

The First United Methodist Church Job Networking Group will host a leadership program, April 11 at 6 p.m. at the church Parish Hall on Greenville Street in downtown Newnan.

Mack and Ria Story, owners of Top Story Leadership, will speak on making an impact from Mack’s book, “Maximize Your Potential: Unleashing the Leader Within.”

Mack Story said he wrote this book for those who are in entry-level, frontline positions. The couple has written over 18 books on ways to improve readers’ impact and leadership skills.

After the program, there will be an update from the Georgia Department of Labor on the local job market.

Taco Mac hosts annual Can Jam fundraiser

Can Jam, Taco Mac’s annual month-long fundraiser for Camp Twin Lakes, will be held until April 30.

Taco Mac is featuring 18 canned beers from sponsoring brewer.

Taco Mac is also celebrating its 20th year raising funds for Camp Twin Lakes, which provides life-changing camp experiences for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and other challenges.

Guests earn Brewniversity credits for purchasing a paper beer can to sign and display on the wall for a $1, $5 or $10 donation. Donations are worth half a credit, one credit and two credits, respectively. Purchase all three for $16 and earn three and a half Brewniversity credits total.

Taco Mac is located on Newnan Crossing Bypass in Newnan.
