University of West Georgia students, from left, Jonathan Bell, Amelia Farmer, Blair Fox, Tiffany Ramroop, Hannah Beth Baldizon and Monica Collins get ready to take off at the newly installed bike-share station on Hays Mill Road in Carrollton. All six students are members of the Southwire Sustainable Business Honors (SSBH) program, a one-of-a-kind program that allows students to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as a business sustainability certificate in four years. The bike share project is a partnership between the City of Carrollton, UWG, Southwire LLC and Tanner Health System and was brought to fruition through a project done by SSBH program students.
