James Leroy Mann Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 surrounded by his family at his home in Kingsbury, Texas.
He was born July 19, 1946 in Newnan, Georgia to the late James Leroy Mann and Frances Stewart Mann. He will be remembered for his love of Life and Family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Sallie Hollis Mann; children, Ruthie Mann Seiders (Chad), Isaac Mann Eckols (Byron), Kathleen Mann Loyd (Matt), James Hollis Mann (Sophie); sister, Ginny Mann Brown; grandchildren, Sallie Ann Seiders, Katie Seiders, Jack Seiders, Hollis Eckols, Hudson Eckols, Isaac Loyd; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jim graduated from Newnan High School. He attended Mercer University and graduated from West Georgia College. He also attended the Georgia Banking School and was in the Army National Guard.
Jim spent many years in the Banking Industry, but he will be most fondly remembered for the 18 years in his BBQ restaurant, Mann’s Barbecue in Austin, Texas. It was his joy and passion. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time on his ranch.

A private family Celebration of Life was held on February 24 in Austin, Texas.
