I think the "Round-A-Boughts" are helping when it comes to speeding, but please make sure that the information on the signs concerning the streets is complete. Turkey Creek is an address, but East Newnan Road is not included as a sign, and it should be. Unless you are familiar with the area, you would not know that East Newnan Road is a street right off Turkey Creek. Please add a sign with East Newnan Road.
We understand you must publish liberal and conservative news. News articles have the power to sway people's political opinion. The political persuasion can be subtle. The Associated Press is decidedly biased with a liberal agenda. By publishing only AP articles as your source of national news, the NTH is promoting biased reporting.
Roundabouts are the best solution for the existing configuration of the Greentop/Hal Jones/U.S. 29 intersections. After sitting at a stop light at U.S. 29 and Ga. 138 for several minutes at 11 p.m. Wednesday and no traffic in either direction, I would like to see one there, too, or at least a signal that operates logically and efficiently.
I don't understand Coweta's love affair with traffic roundabouts. They eat up a lot of space, are unsightly, and makes passage difficult for long (legal) vehicles.
