Can’t Never Could founders Rob and Christi Estes have recently announced Aimee Copeland as keynote speaker for the organization’s annual Grey Matters Dinner Event. The fourth-annual benefit is scheduled to take place at the Newnan Centre on March 17 at 6:30 p.m.

“Aimee Copeland embodies the character of a Can’t Never Could warrior,” said Christi Estes. “She recognizes her blessings even through the extreme adversity she faces on a daily basis. We are so excited to share with our attendees her strength and enthusiasm for life at our dinner this year.”

Nearly five years ago, Copeland, then a college student, was involved in an accident while zip-lining that tragically led to the amputation of the young woman’s left leg, right foot, and both hands. Copeland is now an advocate for individuals with disabilities and continues to inspire with her story of survival.

The Grey Matters Dinner is the largest fundraiser for Can’t Never Could, a nonprofit established in 2013 after Rob Estes was diagnosed with grade IV glioblastoma, an incurable form of brain cancer. While battling their own adversity as a family, the couple established the organization in an effort to help others in similar situations.

Tickets for the fundraiser are available online, in addition to sponsorship opportunities, at www.cantnevercouldinc.com . Individual tickets can be purchased for $75. The Newnan Centre is located at 1515 Lower Fayetteville Road in Newnan.
