My question about the "Deff guy" at Burger King is more wondering how the employees were supposed to be able to tell he was deaf by looking at him? Maybe write what he was wearing instead? Unless he had huge hearing aids, how would you tell which customer is deaf just by looking around? Or just yell "DUCK" and hand the only person left standing his order.

I would like to express my thanks to Coweta County Animal Control for promptly and thoroughly removing dead deer from the roadside right of way. We have had at least two incidents in the recent past where their services were called upon. Both times, the deer were in highly visible places, and a crew was dispatched quickly to eliminate gruesome and potentially smelly remains. Thank you.

2015: Chinese attack targeted personal emails of “all top national security” officials just days after Pentagon hack. But yet Obama didn't expel any Chinese.

On this date in 1968 (Jan. 9), we woke to about 3 inches of snow. I remember this well because I gave birth that morning to a beautiful baby girl. Happy Birthday to you Anita Lynn Quick Smith. Your Mama loves you, Baby.

Kudos to the person who came up with the front-page headline, "The city that cried snow." I love it! But if government officials had done nothing, and we did have snow or ice, you would hear complaints from people all across North Georgia.

Alright President Obama, it has been eight years now, and the only change I can believe in will happen on January 20, 2017.

My suggestion for replacement of "Obamacare" is "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act." The "ACA," for short, is the brainchild of The Heritage Foundation, a Conservative "think tank" which was first implemented by then Republican Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts. In honor of the new president we can call it "Trumpcare.”
