Mr. Earnest Wade Hannah, Sr., 75, of Roanoke, Alabama, formerly of Senoia, died at his residence on January 7, 2017. 

He was born in Senoia to the late Ralph Carlton Hannah and Jeffie T. Nichols Hannah.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jody Hannah.  

He will be remembered as a great husband, "the best hard working daddy in the world,” a faithful friend and loving brother.  He was maintenance manager of Southern Mills in Senoia and a member of Miracle Way Baptist Church in Senoia.

Surviving are his wife, Diane J. Hannah; sons, Carlton Hannah, Jimmy Hannah, Ernie Hannah, Jason Hannah, Eric Hannah, and Jonathan Hannah; daughters, Marie Hannah and Lashon Hannah; brother, Robert Hannah; sister, Doris Chappell; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Miracle Way Baptist Church with Pastors Jonathan Hannah, Harry Parkerson and Harry Gann officiating. Remains were placed in state at the church at 1 p.m.  The interment followed at Senoia City Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 9, 6-8 p.m.
