Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant- 1111 Bullsboro Dr. Suite 12 Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 24 and scored a 95- A. The deduction derived from buildup in the can opener, scoop handles in product, and damaged gaskets on several coolers.

Danthony’s Grill & Bar- 89 Herring Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 19 and was scored a 99- A. The deduction was a result of grease buildup on the walls and ceilings.

Georgia Stadium 14- 232 Newnan Crossing Bypass Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 25 and received a perfect score or 100- A.

The Heritage School – Valley Services, Inc.- 2093 N. Highway 29 Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 18 and earned a perfect score of 100- A.

Madras Middle School Cafeteria- 240 Edgeworth Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 26 and scored a perfect 100- A.

Olive Garden #1658- 212 Newnan Crossing Bypass Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 24 and received a score of 99- A. The deduction came from the ladies being stored too closely to the hand wash sink to prevent contamination.

Rib Rub’s BBQ- 2895 Roscoe Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 26 and was granted a perfect score of 100- A.

Subway- 1010 E. 34 Highway Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 25 and scored a 91- A. The deduction resulted from a small cooler in front not holding food at 41 degrees or below.

Texas Roadhouse- 1127 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 23 received a score of 96- A. The deduction derived from a sanitizer not being present in the ware washing machine.

The Frigid Frog of West Georgia- 207 Rustica Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 26 and earned a flawless score of 100- A.

Waffle House #1570- 15 Glenda Trace Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 23 and scored a 94- A. The deduction was a result of the hot water rinse not reaching 180 degrees, condensation water pooling in the bottom of two coolers, rusting wire racks, an open lid on a dumpster, a plug missing on the bottom, and debris inside the closure.

Arby’s RTM- 947 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 12 and received a score of 99- A. The deduction was issued because of damage to an outside wall not being properly repaired, some ceiling damage, and ceiling issues in the bathroom.

Benton House of Newnan- 25 Newnan Lakes Blvd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 16 and earned a score of 94- A. The deduction resulted from broken gauges on the dish washer, the dish washer not sanitizing properly, dried food on the can opener, wet stacked dishes, a lack of sanitizer test strips, buildup on rent grates, and buildup on the mixer neck.

Canongate Elementary School Cafeteria- 200 Petes Rd. Sharpsburg, Ga- was inspected on May 13 and earned a perfect score of 100- A.

Cargill Cafeteria- 33 Dart Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 17 and received a score of 93. The deduction derived from chicken that was 89 degrees Fahrenheit and wrapped in plastic being stored in a reach-in cooler, 117 degrees Fahrenheit gravy stored in a covered plastic container, soiled dishes stored in the vegetable prep sink, no presence of a sanitizer in the wiping cloth bucket, stained ceiling tiles in the dry storage room, and employees’ personal items being stored in crate with food.

Ellis Arnall Middle School Cafeteria- 700 Lora Smith Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 13 and earned a perfect score of 100- A.

Planet Smoothie- 90 Glenda Trace Suite E Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 17 and received a score of 98- A. The deduction resulted from a leak at the prep sink.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers- 202 Newnan Crossing Bypass Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 18 and was granted a score of 91- A. The deduction was issued because of Bruschetta being at 50 degrees Fahrenheit, lettuce being at 52.5 degrees Fahrenheit, pico being at 47.1 degrees Fahrenheit, and turkey being at 51.1 degrees Fahrenheit. The items were discarded and corrected on-site.

Subway- 3100 E. Highway 16 Suite D Sharpsburg, Ga- was inspected on May 16 and received a score of 98- A. The deduction resulted from a leak in the dish sink drain pipe.

Taco Bell- 3410 Highway 34 E. Sharpsburg, Ga- was inspected on May 17 and was granted a score of 95- A. The deduction came from mold on drink nozzles and wet stacked pans.

Asian Chef- 941 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 27 and received a score of 91- A. The deduction derived from cooked chicken being stored inside a walk-in cooler in larger container cooling when an ice bath and smaller container is supposed to be used for cooling, raw beef being stored on the top shelf on the reach-in freezer and some foods being stored uncovered below when foods should be covered in the freezer to avoid possible dripping before food freezes, fly strips hanging throughout the kitchen, and a roach in an unused cooler.

J.S.V. Restaurant Beijing Chinese Restaurant- 2005 Highway 16 W. Suite 103 Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 31 and earned a score of 97- A. The deduction resulted from a lift top prep cooler not keeping foods on top at 41 degrees. Chicken was at 45 and 49 degrees.

Calico Corners- 22 Main St. Grantville, Ga- was inspected on May 27 and scored a 92- A. The deduction came from a box of frozen chicken on the drain board of the sink, ground beef on the table near the sink, soiled utensils stored in 85 degree Fahrenheit water, a lack of chlorine sanitizer test strips, a leak at the sinks’ drain pipes, and exposed light bulbs in the prep area.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southeastern Regional Medical Center- 600 Celebrate Life Parkway Newnan, Ga- was inspected on June 2 and received a score of 87- B. The deduction resulted from dried lemon particles in the wedger, dried particle on the slicer blade, tuna salad at 48.2 degrees Fahrenheit wrapped tightly with plastic inside the walk-in cooler with tuna salad at 50.5 degrees Fahrenheit cooling on the prep top cooler when plastic wrap should be ventilated for proper cooling, and shell eggs not stored on lower shelf of cooler. The eggs were moved to the lower walk-in cooler rack. A box of single service plates was stored on the floor, cups were stored in the dispenser with the drinking rim exposed, and there was a leak at 3 compartment sink drain pipe.

China Express- 50 Bullsboro Dr. Suite H44 Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 31 and scored a 77- C. The deduction resulted from a raw chicken bowl being stored on jalapenos, raw chicken being stored above raw beef, raw fish being stored above produce inside the walk-in cooler, cooked chicken at both 54 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the bottom of the lift top cooler, meat at 62 degrees Fahrenheit on the prep table, lobster bake at 122 degrees Fahrenheit held in the small oven, sweet-n-sour soup at 130 degrees Fahrenheit stored on the lower shelf of the prep table, unlabeled chemical spray bottles, and cups and other items without handles stored in foods and used to dispense.

China Kitchen- 90 Glenda Trace Suite H Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 23 and received a score of 86- B. The deduction derived from raw chicken being stored above cooked chicken, food being stored on the floor, no sanitizer in wiping cloths, and an old inspection report posted with an incorrect score.

El Charro Mexican Restaurant- 77 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 20 and earned a score of 97- A. The deduction was issued because of shell eggs not being stored on the lower shelf of the cooler—it was corrected on-site.

Fire Dragon Asian Cuisine- 1065 Sullivan Rd. Suite F Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 23 and received a score of 92- A. The deduction derived from an open employee’s cup that needed a lid to cover, a chemical spray bottle stored in the hand wash sink, food being stored on the walk-in freezer floor, a sticker inside a food container, and a container stored with chicken used to dispense chicken.

Krystal- 220 Bullsboro Dr. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on June 2 and scored a 99- A. The deduction resulted from employees not washing their hands between glove changes.

LillyBlu- 27 Jackson St. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 26 and received a score of 93- A. The deduction derived from mold on the deflector of the ice machine, sausage wrapped tightly in plastic cooling with the temperature of the display cooler slightly elevated, and missing thermometers from freezers and coolers.

Starlite Family Fun Center of Sharpsburg- 55 Thomas Grace Annex Lane Sharpsburg, Ga- was inspected on May 23 and scored a 93- A. The deduction resulted from no paper towels at the hand wash sink, cups being stored in the hand wash sink, cups being stored in sugar, single service cups being stored with chemicals, and a leak at 3 compartment sink drain pipe.

Sweet Snow- 39 Franklin Rd. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 27 and received a score of 94- A. The deduction derived from items being stored in the hand wash sink, no soap at the hand wash sink, and no water.

The Cellar at Firestone- 20 Jefferson St. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on June 2 and scored a 97- A. The deduction was issued because of several coolers missing thermometers or not having them able to be located.

The Frigid Frog- 6632 Highway 54 Sharpsburg, Ga- was inspected on May 23 and received a perfect score of 100- A.

Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse- 101 Newnan Crossing Bypass Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 20 and earned a score of 95- A. The deduction derived from scallops being thawed improperly when they should thaw in a cooler or under running water, a bowl stored in rice used to dispense, hand wash sink not being attached securely to the wall, employees’ jackets being stored on the food rack, buildup on the cooler fan cover, and rusty screws in the deflector of the ice machine.

Wesley Woods of Newnan/Peachtree City- 2280 N. 29 Highway N. Newnan, Ga- was inspected on May 31 and received a score of 99- A. The deduction derived from stained light shields, flaking paint on a side wall, ice crystals inside the walk-in freezer, and wet stacked pans.
