  • Danthony’s Grill and Bar- 89 Herring Rd.- was inspected on Sept. 18 and scored a 96- A. The deduction derived from outdated certificate of food safety manager.
  • Georgia Stadium 14- 232 Newnan Crossing Bypass- was inspected on Sept. 18 and scored a perfect 100- A.
  • Magic Wings & Things- 47 E Newnan RD.- scored a 96- A when they were inspected on Sept. 18. The deduction derived from lack of having a food safety manager.
  • Starlite Family Fun Center- 55 Thomas Grace ANX Sharpsburg, GA- was inspected on Sept. 18 and received a score of 96- A. The deduction derived from violation of proper eating, drinking, and tasting, or tobacco use.
  • Canongate On Whiteoak Clubhouse- 141 Clubview Dr. Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sept. 22 and scored a 98- A. The deductions derived from knives being stored between prep table and cooler and the thermometer on booster machine is not working properly.
  • Arnco-Sargent School Cafeteria- 2449 HWY 16 W- was inspected on Oct. 8, and received a score of 100- A.
  • Atkinson Elementary School- 14 Nimmons St. Newnan, GA- was inspected on Oct. 6, and received a score of 100- A.
  • Brooks Elementary School- 35 Genesee Point Newnan, GA- was inspected on Oct. 2 and scored a 100- A.
  • El Taquito- 1389 S HWY 29- was inspected on Sep. 1 and received a score of 78- C. The deductions derived from employee using bare hands on onion and cilantro- ready to eat foods, hand washing sink blocked by trash can, and raw beef and raw whole shell eggs stored in container above ready to eat foods.
  • Elm Street School Cafeteria- 46 Elm St. Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sep. 6 and scored a 100- A.
  • Fried Tomato Buffet- 1180 Bullsboro Dr.- was inspected on Sep. 6 and scored a 90- A. The deductions derived from some foods on buffet barely reaching appropriate holding temperature, wet wiping cloths stored on pan rack, wet stacked pans, split gasket on cooler door, leak at drain pipe of pre-rinse dish sink, and meat in top pan stored in freezer directly on top of meat in the bottom pan without foil between pans.
  • Hideaway Tavern- 59 Old Corinth Rd. Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sep. 8 and scored a 95- A. The deductions derived from chicken wings thawing in pan, bowl stored in flour and used to dispense, broken floor tile under dish rack, and no light in prep room.
  • Matt’s Small Town Pizza- 53 Main St., Ste. E- was inspected on Sep. 2 and scored a 98- A. The deductions derived from scoop handle stored in flour, split gaskets on cooler doors, and build up on storage racks.
  • Newnan Crossing Elementary School Cafeteria- 1267 Lower Fayetteville Rd.- was inspected on Sep. 6 and scored a 99- A. The deduction derived from ice build up on walk-in freezer unit.
  • Northside Elementary School- 720 Country Club Rd.- was inspected on Sep. 6 and scored a 100- A.
  • Cambridge House- 2687 154 HWY Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sept. 15 and scored a 100- A.
  • China Express- 50 Bullsboro Dr., Ste. H44 Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sept. 15 and scored a 90- A. The deductions derived from raw chicken being chopped and prepped above produce, raw shell eggs stored above cooked chicken, and moving produce from under prep table with raw chicken with gloves on that were used to handle raw chicken.
  • China Kitchen- 90 Glenda Trace, Ste. H Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sept. 14 and received a score of 75- C. The deductions derived from employee failing to wash hands before putting gloves on, then handling trash with gloves on and did not change gloves afterwards, hand washing sink was blocked and there was no other place to wash hands at with soap and paper towels, whole shell eggs stored above ready to eat food, raw chicken stored above ready to eat foods, and large scoop used for raw chicken then used for vegetables.
  • Chylaca’s Mexican Restaurant And Grill- 20 Bullsboro Dr.- was inspected on Sept. 14 and received a score of a 93- A. The deductions derived from employee eating at prep table in prep area, steak temperature on line slightly elevated, and ground beef thawing in sink.
  • El Charro Mexican Restaurant- 77 Bullsboro Dr.- was inspected on Sept. 13 and scored a 96- A. The only deduction derived from multiple containers missing date dots.
  • Fire Dragon Asian Cuisine- 1065 Sullivan Rd., Suite F - was inspected on Sept. 13 and scored a 95- A. The deductions derived from small lift top cooler not able to hold foods at correct cold-hold temperature, split gaskets, mold on gaskets and build up around equipment.
  • Krystal- 220 Bullsboro Dr.- was inspected on Sept. 13 and scored a 93- A. The deductions derived from mold on back interior wall of ice machine, drain pipe missing from hand washing sink making it inoperable and stained ceiling tiles.
  • Lepoma’s Pizzeria- 3500 Hwy. 34 Sharpsburg, GA- was inspected on Sept. 15 and received a score of 96- A. The deductions derived from dried food particles in slicer and mold on interior wall of ice machine.
  • Mainstreet Fudge and Ice Cream Shop- 42 Main St. Senoia - was inspected on Sept. 14 and scored a 100- A.
  • Pizza Hut #31141- 124 Jefferson St. Newnan, GA- was inspected on Sept. 14 and scored a 96- A. The deductions derived from build up on storage racks, leak around handle of three compartment sink, dust present, and light is dim in walk-in freezer due to only one light bulb being present.
  • Smokey Road Elementary School Cafeteria- 965 Smokey Rd.- was inspected on Sept. 14 and received a score of a 97- A. The deductions derived from freezer dripping water on inside and hot hold violations.
  • Subway #62716- 3100 E Hwy. 16, Ste. D Sharpsburg - was inspected on Sept. 16 and received a score of 100- A.
  • Thomas Crossroads Elementary School- 3530 Hwy 34 E Sharpsburg - was inspected on Sept. 14 and scored a 100- A.
