Tequila’s Restaurant & Club- 276 Greenville St- was inspected on Aug. 13 and received a score of a 90-A. The point deductions derived from employees cutting peppers with bare hands and lack of replacing a light bulb cover.

The Half Shell Oyster Bar & Hotdog Shop- 1690 Hwy 34 E STE C- received a score of a 92-A on Aug. 11. The 8 point deduction derived from serving utensils being left out at room temperature for over 4 hours, as well as some foods not containing a date mark.

Wendy’s- 1210 Hwy 34 E- was inspected on Aug. 10 and received an almost perfect score of a 99-A. The one point loss was due to single serve cups not being stored in a protective sleeve.

Wendy’s- 1645 29 Hwy S- was inspected on Aug. 11 and received a nearly flawless score of 99-A. The one point loss was due to the ice machine deflector shield being cracked and frosty liquid mix temperature was slightly elevated. However, frosty temperature is in proper temperature range.

Wishbone Fried Chicken- 32 Jefferson St- was inspected on Aug. 12 and scored a 96-A. The deduction derived from neglecting to place a date mark on the potato salad.

Grantville Senior Center- 123 LaGrange St- was inspected on July 20 and scored a perfect 100-A.

Great China- 1111 Lower Fayetteville RD STE 1800- was inspected on July 23 and scored a 97-A. The deduction derived from prepped vegetables being misplaced.

Katie Lou’s Cafe- 70 Main St, Senoia- received a score of a 97-A on July 10. The point deduction derived from chicken wings and pulled pork being placed, uncovered, in cooler to cool.

Newk’s Express Cafe- 362 Newnan Crossing BYP- was inspected on July 14 and received an almost flawless score of a 99-A. The one point deduction derived from dust on the fan cover inside walk-in cooler, as well as a leak in chemical hoses at 3 compartment sink.

Senoia Raceway- 171 Brown Rd- was inspected on July 10 and scored a near perfect score of a 99-A. The one point deduction derived from exposed light bulbs in prep area.

Southern Ground Social Club- 18 Main St, Senoia- received a score of a 97-A on July 17. The deductions derived from the lift top coolers near the cook line are unable to maintain 41 degrees on lift top area.

Tasty Rib Shack Mobile Unit- 140 W Washington St STE H- was inspected on July 16 and received a near flawless score of a 99-A. The one point deduction derived from a gasket hanging off lower area of the cooler door.

The Corner Tavern- 120 Newnan Crossing Bypass E- received a perfect 100-A when they were inspected on July 16.

Wings on Wheels- 2922 Hwy 85, Senoia- was inspected on July 17 and scored a 97-A. The deduction derived from lack of screening or fly fan on front window. Flies were present.

Yesterday’s Restaurant- 385 Jackson St- received a 87-B when they were inspected on July 16. The deductions derived from mold found in ice machine and drink nozzles, sauces dated from June still present and no date on cole slaw, food being stored on floor of the walk-in cooler, cup used to dispense flour being stored in flour container, as well as rust in cooler where juice is stored and mold found in sink at the bar area.

Yogli Mogli- 228 Newnan Crossing BYP- was inspected on July 20 and scored a 96-A. The deduction derived from no soap being present at handwashing sink.

Newnan Senior Center- 29 Hospital Rd- was inspected on July 15 and scored a perfect 100-A.

People’s Choice- 1741 Newnan Crossing E- received an almost perfect score of a 99-A when they were inspected on July 7. The deduction derived from build up under racks and on racks.

Sharpsburg Take Out LLC- 6549 Hwy 54, Sharpsburg- was inspected on July 16 and received a score of a 96-A. The deduction derived from a sink being blocked by a fan. They corrected this violation on site.

Starbucks in Kroger #420- 3150 E Hwy 34- was inspected on July 13 and scored a 92-A. The deductions derived from handwashing sink being blocked and no sanitizer was observed in sink for sanitizing.

Subway- 2344 N Hwy 29- scored a perfect 100-A when they were inspected on July 15.

Taco Mac- 301 Newnan Crossing Bypass- was inspected on July 15 and scored a 83-B. The deductions derived from no soap or paper towels located at handwashing sink and sink was blocked with trash can, no sanitizer in dish machine, as well as some foods and sauces not obtaining correct temperatures.

The Frigid Frog- 6632 Hwy 54, Sharpsburg- received a score of 100-A when they were inspected on July 16.

Dairy Queen- 1700 Hwy 34 E- was inspected on July 17 and scored a perfect 100-A.

Alamo Jacks- 19 W Court Square- was inspected on Aug. 17 and scored a 93-A. The deductions derived from having no sanitizer at warewashing machine and inspector could not locate any thermometers in several refrigerators.

Arby’s- 65 Bullsboro Dr.- scored a 95-A when they were inspected on Aug. 18. The deductions derived from stacking wet dishes left to dry, food being uncovered inside bins in the freezer, tongs being stored inside bins in freezer, and cup rims not being protected from contamination at drive through window and at front counter.

Captain D’s- 1369 Bullsboro Dr- was inspected on Aug. 14 and scored a 96-A. The deductions derived from fried fish- 170 degrees- hot hold violation, chicken strip- 175 degrees- hot hold violation, cole slaw- 41 degrees- cold hold violation, battered fish- 41 degrees- cold hold violation, green beans- 165 degrees- hot hold violation, prepared shrimp- 41 degrees- cold hold violation, crab cake- 30 degrees- cold hold violation, green beans- 37 degrees- cold hold violation, and no proper date marking.

Depot Grill @ Junction Lanes- 141 Newnan Station Dr.- was inspected on Aug. 14 and scored a 96-A. The deductions derived from sliced tomatoes- 39 degrees- cold hold violation, diced tomatoes- 39 degrees- cold hold violation, chili- 154 degrees- hot hold violation, ground beef- cold hold violation, sausage -37 degrees- cold hold violation, chicken breast- 36 degrees- cold hold violation, and paper towel dispenser at handwashing station not working.

Dunkin Donuts- 1010 E HWY 34 STE 101- received an 88-B when they were inspected on Aug. 19. The deductions derived from no paper towels located at rear handwashing sink, ice bin at front counter uncovered, leak in walk in cooler dripping on boxes of food, scoop stored inside sugar bin, ice scoop stored in ice, single serve cups stored without sleeve in dry storage area, fly fan broken, and walk in cooler is too small for the amount of food stored within.

Fat Boys- 485 HWY 16 W- was inspected on Aug. 19 and scored a 92-A. The deductions derived from the handwashing sink being covered and having no soap, brunswick stew- 140 degrees- hot hold violation, baked beans- 170 degrees- hot hold violation, cole slaw- 35 degrees- cold hold violation, pulled pork- 40 degrees- cold hold violation, and safe serv manager violation.

Golden’s On The Square- 9 E Court Square- scored a 92-A when they were inspected on Aug. 18. The deductions derived from no sanitizer located in warewashing machine, grater build up, storing product in open cans, and scoop handles stored in product.

Jersey Mike’s Subs- 90 Glenda Trace STE O- was inspected on Aug. 20 and received a score of 97-A. The deductions derived from single serv spoons not placed all in the same direction, oil accumulation on floor next to grill top, debris under equipment, and shelves in cabinet under drink station in disrepair, and ceiling tiles stained.
